Nestled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada and Mt Whitney, Lone Pine, California, and the surrounding Alabama Hills offer a striking landscape that has captured my photographic imagination, especially for astrophotography. The unique rock formations and expansive vistas provide incredible foregrounds to frame the night sky, making it a dream destination for capturing the Milky Way and other celestial wonders. With minimal light pollution, the dark skies of Lone Pine create ideal conditions for stargazing and astrophotography, allowing me to explore long exposures, star trails, and the beauty of the cosmos. My work aims to capture the magic of this celestial adventure, combining the rugged beauty of the Alabama Hills with the captivating brilliance of the night sky.
