In January 2020, I embarked on an unforgettable 7-day safari and mountain gorilla expedition in Uganda, a journey that exceeded all expectations. This remarkable adventure offered the incredible opportunity to witness the "Big Five" and track chimpanzees, alongside encounters with a diverse array of other fascinating wildlife. The highlight was undoubtedly gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to approximately half of the world's mountain gorilla population. This experience is often described as a "once in a lifetime experience" where you hike through the thick tropical rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. This expedition not only provided unparalleled photographic opportunities but also deepened my appreciation for the rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes of Uganda.
