In February 2024, I embarked on a photography expedition to Yosemite National Park, hoping to capture the awe-inspiring winter landscapes. The day before my shoot, a fresh blanket of snow transformed the park into a pristine wonderland, offering unique opportunities for capturing the serene beauty of Yosemite in winter. While my primary goal was to witness and photograph the famed Firefall sunset on Horsetail Fall, unfortunately, the clouds obscured the view, turning the fiery cascade into a muted spectacle. Despite missing the Firefall, the trip was filled with rewarding moments, capturing the magical essence of Yosemite's winter charm, with the hope of catching the elusive Firefall on my next visit.
